Alpha
What is Alpha? Alpha is a series of sessions exploring the basics of the Christian faith. Each session looks at a different question that people can have about faith and is designed to create conversation. It’s an open, informal, and friendly place where individuals can explore their Christian faith at their own pace, get answers to their questions, and where honest opinions are welcomed and listened to. What does it look like? It's simple: food, a talk, and good conversation. So whether you're a Christian with questions or have a friend, coworker, or family member looking for answers, this course might just be the tool you need!
Some of the questions we will be looking at include:
Is There More To Life Than This?
Who is Jesus?
Why Did Jesus Die?
How Can We Have Faith?
Why and How Do I Pray?
Why and How Do I Read the Bible?
How Does God Guide Us?
How Can I Resist Evil?
Why and How Should I Tell Others?
Does God Heal Today?
What About the Church?
What is the commitment?
Alpha meets once a week, for 10 weeks, at the church with one additional meeting on a Saturday morning. Each weekday meeting lasts approximately 2 hours.
What will each week look like?
Each week, you will enjoy a free meal, hear a short teaching and encouragement, and then meet in small groups where you will talk about the teaching and share life in an open and friendly, and no-pressure environment.

Easter in the Canyon
Let us reintroduce you to Jesus.
Many people know who Jesus is but don't know Jesus. This Easter we'd love to reintroduce you to Jesus of Nazareth. When you truly understand who He is, why He came, and what it means for your life, it is good news. Even if you think you know him, unless it's changed your life you may not know everything about Him. Come meet the man who changed the world.
Join us this year as we gather to celebrate Easter at McKelligon Canyon.
Our service will start at 9am. Doors open at 8:30 am.
Our Service
Our service will take place outdoors in the McKelligon Canyon Amphitheatre, set in the beautiful setting of the Franklin Mountains. Whether you’ve been to church many times or are attending for the first time you’ll feel comfortable and welcomed. Expect an hour and a half of music, singing, Scripture readings, preaching, and good news.
Kids Activities
Kids are welcome in our Easter service and it will be engaging for the whole family. We’ll hand out age-appropriate activity bags and coloring sheets to kids as they enter the theater.
After our service, we’ll have a party in the outdoor plaza where kids can expect activities like balloon animals, a photo spot, and face painting.
FAQ
What should I wear? There’s no dress code, so wear whatever you’ll be most comfortable in. Since our service is outdoors, please dress appropriate to the outdoor weather and temperature.
Will there be food or drinks? We’ll have drinks and snacks available after the service for everyone.
What if there is inclement weather? We’ll continue our service through light inclement weather but in an extreme case, we’ll send a text update and post a notice on our website by early Sunday morning. In the even of cancellation, we’ll revert to holding services at our church building.
Where do I park? Follow signs and you’ll be directed to the parking area.
Is there parking or drop-off for those disabled? There are several parking spots designated for those with disabilities right across from the entrance. There is also a drop-off area for those who need it.
Know Before You Go
This is an outdoor venue, set in the heart of the Franklin Mountains. As such, we’d recommend any individuals with allergies or sensitivities to insects, including bees/wasps, to prepare any necessary precautions.
The McKelligon Canyon Amphitheater is also an El Paso Live venue and we must adhere to their venue policies. Please take note of some of the following El Paso Live policies:
El Paso Live will be providing security for the event and open and/or concealed carry will not be permitted.
All bags will be inspected prior to entering the venue
El Paso Live has permitted outside food and drinks to be brought into the event
How to Get There
Please plan for extra time to arrive and park at McKelligon (add a few minutes more than shown via Google Maps or similar).

Good Friday Service
Many people know who Jesus is but don't know Jesus. This Easter we'd love to reintroduce you to Jesus of Nazareth. When you truly understand who He is, why He came, and what it means for your life, it is good news. Even if you think you know him, unless it's changed your life you may not know everything about Him. Come meet the man who changed the world.
Note: Childcare will not be available. Our nursing mom’s room will be open and the service will be streamed to the room.
(Our Easter service will be off-site but our Good Friday service will still be at the church building.)

GriefShare Meeting
It may be hard for you to feel optimistic about the future right now. If you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member, or friend, you’ve probably found there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel.
This can be a confusing time when you feel isolated and have many questions about things you’ve never faced before.
“Going to GriefShare feels like having warm arms wrapped around you when you’re shivering.”
Our 13-Week GriefShare Group meets weekly to help you face these challenges and move toward rebuilding your life.
You are welcome to begin attending the GriefShare group at any session. Each is “self-contained,” so you do not have to attend in sequence. You will find encouragement and help whenever you begin. You can continue with GriefShare through the next 13-week cycle and view any of the videos you have not seen.

Growing Old Gracefully
"Growing Old Gracefully" is a Bible Study focused on finding strength, joy, and purpose in the later stages of life. Through weekly discussions, members explore biblical wisdom on aging, resilience, and faithfulness. The group emphasizes community, support, and gratitude, helping participants embrace the spiritual richness of growing older. Together, they seek God’s guidance for navigating the unique challenges and blessings that come with aging.
