3-Sunday Foundations (Membership) Class
Our Foundations Class, also known as our membership class, is open to all those interested in learning more about our church or interested in joining Cross of Grace as a member. Attending the class does not obligate you in any way to become a member, but it will provide you with more information about what we believe as a church, who we are as a church, and what our vision as a church is so that you can decide if Cross of Grace Church is the church for you. Learn more about our membership process here.
The three-Sunday class will be offered during both our 9 am and 11 am services on January 19, January 26, and February 2.
If you are attending the class, please make plans to attend the service either before or after the class.

Re-engage Launches
What is re|engage?
Re|engage brings couples together to learn about God’s design for marriage and apply biblical principles for building a healthy relationship.
Who should attend?
Re|engage is for one man, one woman couples who are married (in other words, this is not for seriously dating, engaged, or cohabitating couples). Previously married couples who are separated or divorced and considering reconciliation are also encouraged to attend.
What is the commitment?
Re|engage meets for fifteen consecutive weeks with each meeting lasting approximately 90 minutes. Childcare is not provided.
What will each week look like?
Each week, you will hear from couples whose marriages have been transformed, learn practical ways to grow in oneness with your spouse, and gain insight from others in a small group setting. So whether your marriage needs to be REIGNITED, or is in need of a complete RESURRECTION, re|engage is a safe place for couples to RECONNECT.
Visit the Information Table on Sunday to sign up. Spots are limited so don’t wait!

GriefShare Meeting
It may be hard for you to feel optimistic about the future right now. If you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member, or friend, you’ve probably found there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel.

The Music of Christmas
Hear the story of Christmas through the music of Christmas

The event: An all-ages Christmas service featuring carols, songs, and readings
Live music: Music not only in the service but live music before and after the service
Treats: Join us in our backyard following the service for lights and hot chocolate
Ticketing: The event is free but ticketed so we can make sure we have sufficient seating
Location: Join us Cross of Grace, located in the heart of the city in the historic Austin Terrace neighborhood
Dates: Friday, December 20 and Saturday, December 21
Time: 7:00 - 8:15 pm, doors open at 6:30 pm
Mark your calendars and make sure to check back to register. This is a FREE, ticketed event with limited seating. To ensure that everyone has the opportunity to enjoy the event, please select only one night to attend.

(If it's an infant who will sit in a stroller or on your lap, there is no need to obtain a ticket for them.) Our nursing moms room will be available and the service will be streamed to the room.

Alpha
What is Alpha? Alpha is a series of sessions exploring the basics of the Christian faith. Each session looks at a different question that people can have about faith and is designed to create conversation. It’s an open, informal, and friendly place where individuals can explore their Christian faith at their own pace, get answers to their questions, and where honest opinions are welcomed and listened to. What does it look like? It's simple: food, a talk, and good conversation. So whether you're a Christian with questions or have a friend, coworker, or family member looking for answers, this course might just be the tool you need!
Some of the questions we will be looking at include:
Is There More To Life Than This?
Who is Jesus?
Why Did Jesus Die?
How Can We Have Faith?
Why and How Do I Pray?
Why and How Do I Read the Bible?
How Does God Guide Us?
How Can I Resist Evil?
Why and How Should I Tell Others?
Does God Heal Today?
What About the Church?
What is the commitment?
Alpha meets once a week, for 10 weeks, at the church with one additional meeting on a Saturday morning. Each weekday meeting lasts approximately 2 hours.
What will each week look like?
Each week, you will enjoy a free meal, hear a short teaching and encouragement, and then meet in small groups where you will talk about the teaching and share life in an open and friendly, and no-pressure environment.
Let us know you're interested in attending by registering today!
Christmas Decorating Party
Come help us decorate our church, inside and out, for the Advent season! Even if you can only come for just a few hours and not the entire time, we’d love to have you join us.
Arrive a little early for some coffee and treats, and stay for a pizza lunch.
Please RSVP by Monday, Nov 18 so we can strategize our work for that day and plan for enough food!
Can't wait! Christmastime is almost here!

Join us as we record the next episode of our new Cross of Grace Church podcast, COG Firepit Chats. We're calling it, "The End of the World As We Know It".
Our pastors will be looking at what the Bible says about the end times and we invite you to join the conversation! As we enter the back half of Daniel in a couple of weeks, questions are going to pop up about the end times so we want to talk about what the Bible says about it. Register today to be part of the conversation.

GriefShare Meeting
It may be hard for you to feel optimistic about the future right now. If you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member, or friend, you’ve probably found there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel.
This can be a confusing time when you feel isolated and have many questions about things you’ve never faced before.
“Going to GriefShare feels like having warm arms wrapped around you when you’re shivering.”
Our GriefShare group meets weekly to help you face these challenges and move toward rebuilding your life.
You are welcome to begin attending the GriefShare group at any session. Each is “self-contained,” so you do not have to attend in sequence. You will find encouragement and help whenever you begin. You will be able to continue with GriefShare through the next 13-week cycle and view any of the videos you have not seen.
