re:generation

Re:generation is a biblically-based discipleship program offering healing, recovery, and freedom from any type of struggle.

The reality is that we all experience brokenness in this life.

You’re not alone. We all have struggles to overcome. Whether big or small, these destructive thoughts and habits hold us back from the life we want—and the life God calls us to live.

The good news is that God loves you, wants to heal you, and has a plan for you.

Through Re:generation, thousands of people have found freedom from their struggles and experienced new life in Christ. Hear their stories and be encouraged that there is also hope for you.

What is the commitment?

Re:generation will run for 8 consecutive weeks, September 11 to October 30 from 6:00–7:30pm at Cross of Grace.

Is there a cost?

Each member will be required to purchase a workbook for $14.

Doctrines of Grace

Do people truly have free will? Does God have free will? Which of the two is constrained by sin and death, and which is infinitely perfect, righteous, and loving in all He does?

Through this class, we’ll explore God’s plan of redemption and salvation—His will, His purposes, and what He has revealed to us through Scripture and the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Together, we’ll unpack our beliefs about God’s sovereignty, His free will, and His purposes through the theological framework known as the Doctrines of Grace.

The class will be led by Brent Clarke and Mark Ceglio, and it promises to be a rich time of study with the ultimate goal of deepening our worship of our great God. Space is limited and will be first-come, first-served, so we encourage you to sign up today!

GriefShare Meeting

If you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member, or close friend, it may feel hard to imagine a hopeful future. Grief can be overwhelming and isolating—but you don’t have to walk through it alone.

GriefShare is a 13-week support group designed to help you face the challenges of loss and begin to rebuild your life. Each weekly session offers encouragement, practical help, and a safe space to process your grief with others who understand.

The group meets weekly on Tuesdays from September 16 to December 9. You are welcome to join at any point—the sessions are self-contained, so you won’t be behind if you miss the start.

One participant described it this way: “Going to GriefShare feels like having warm arms wrapped around you when you’re shivering.”

Alpha

What is Alpha? Alpha is a series of sessions exploring the basics of the Christian faith. Each session looks at a different question that people can have about faith and is designed to create conversation. It’s an open, informal, and friendly place where individuals can explore their Christian faith at their own pace, get answers to their questions, and where honest opinions are welcomed and listened to. What does it look like? It's simple: food, a talk, and good conversation. So whether you're a Christian with questions or have a friend, coworker, or family member looking for answers, this course might just be the tool you need!

Some of the questions we will be looking at include:

  • Is There More To Life Than This?

  • Who is Jesus?

  • Why Did Jesus Die?

  • How Can We Have Faith?

  • Why and How Do I Pray?

  • Why and How Do I Read the Bible?

  • How Does God Guide Us?

  • How Can I Resist Evil?

  • Why and How Should I Tell Others?

  • Does God Heal Today?

  • What About the Church?

What is the commitment?

This semester’s Alpha will be held on Monday evenings, August 18–November 3, from 6:30–8:30pm at Julio’s Mexican Food in Horizon. There will also be one additional meeting on Saturday, October 18 from 9am-12pm.

What will each week look like?

Each week, you will enjoy a free meal, hear a short teaching and encouragement, and then meet in small groups where you will talk about the teaching and share life in an open and friendly, and no-pressure environment.

Love Your Church Conference

Love Your Church Conference

In a world that ignores, demeans, or crowds out the local church,we’re gathering to say loudly and boldly: We love the local church

The world calls the local church ugly, but Jesus calls it His bride (Rev 19).

The world calls the local church weak, but Jesus says He will build it with His power (Matt 16:18).

The world calls the local church irrelevant, but Jesus has been using it to turn the world upside down for 2,000 years (Acts 2).

The world calls the church optional, but Jesus says it is essential for the Christian and for His purposes (Eph 3).

How powerful could it be if Christians everywhere believed and lived this way?

Here’s why we started this conference from Ricky

After a string of negative news headlines about the church, and after seeing the way many Christians ignore the church, we decided to do something about it.

We know the church isn’t perfect. We know it’s always in need of changing to look like Christ. We know that we contribute our own faults and failures too.

But we believe the local church is the only thing in this world with Jesus promise behind it that it will prevail (Matt 16:18). Jesus loves the church. So should we.

We’re praying this small conference is a megaphone that rallies Christians across this region to love their local church — serving, giving, forgiving, and persevering. Because the local church is beautiful.

For more details about what is happening at this event, check out the conference website for information about the sessions, speakers, and schedule.

https://www.loveyourchurch.com/

The conference is FREE—but registration is required!

Each ticket reserves your spot and includes morning refreshments, a welcome packet, and lunch. Space is limited, so be sure to claim your free ticket by September 1!

*Note about Late Registration: You’re absolutely welcome to attend! Please note that while we’ll do our best to provide lunch for late admissions, but we can’t guarantee it. Thanks for understanding!

See you there!
