Blessing El Paso With Meals This November

Church family,

This November is a time our culture highlights the value of being thankful, but we as Christians are not just thankful — we look up and see a generous God who has given us all we have. In light of God’s generosity to us we want to be generous with others and we have a unique opportunity to do that through a food drive benefitting El Pasoans Fighting Hunger.

Sunday, November 2 and Sunday, Nov 9 we’ll be collecting non-perishable food items for El Pasoans Fighting Hunger.

This is especially a need right now in our El Paso community due to the U.S. Government shutdown which has left employees furloughed without pay and has paused several food assistance programs. Places like El Pasoans Fighting Hunger have already seen increased need as a result and need help meeting needs and restocking their supplies.

Even if the government shutdown ends quickly, these supplies can also help those who are in need over the holidays in November and December.

We’ll be gathering non-perishable items this Sunday during both services and transporting them to El Pasoans Fighting Hunger. You can learn more about the organization here.
